The U.S. hotel industry reported positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar’s latest data through 26 September. CoStar is a global leading provider of online real estate marketplaces, information and analytics in the property markets.
20-26 September 2026 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):
- Occupancy: 69.7% (+6.4%)
- Average daily rate (ADR): US$179.43 (+7.4%)
- Revenue per available room (RevPAR): US$125.06 (+14.2%)
Performance growth was elevated on the positive side of the Rosh Hashana calendar shift.
Among the Top 25 Markets, Orlando saw the largest occupancy increase (+18.6% to 68.3%).
Miami reported the highest rise in ADR (+19.8% to US$177.65).
San Francisco registered the largest RevPAR lift (+35.1% to US$223.16).
Phoenix was the only Top 25 Market with a decrease in RevPAR (-0.5% to US$99.09).
