BWH Hotels, a leading global hospitality enterprise comprised of WorldHotels™, Best Western® Hotels & Resorts and SureStay® Hotels, today announced the signing of Best Western Premier Vachnadziani, a new upscale resort development in Georgia’s renowned Kakheti wine region. The hotel will strengthen BWH Hotels’ presence in the country while introducing an internationally recognized hospitality brand to Gurjaani Municipality for the first time.
Located in the heart of the Alazani Valley with pre-sales being activated on 1st December 2026, Best Western Premier Vachnadziani will feature 51 guestrooms and suites, combining premium accommodations with leisure, dining and event facilities designed to serve both international and domestic travelers. Positioned amid Kakheti’s celebrated vineyards and cultural attractions, the new build resort will offer guests panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains while providing convenient access to the region’s rich wine-making heritage and authentic Georgian experiences.
“We are delighted to welcome Best Western Premier Vachnadziani to our growing portfolio in Georgia,” said Wytze van den Berg, Vice President EMEA, BWH Hotels. “Kakheti has become one of the country’s most compelling leisure destinations, attracting visitors seeking authentic cultural experiences, exceptional wine tourism and distinctive hospitality offerings. This signing reflects our commitment to expanding in strategically important destinations and providing hotel owners with the brands, commercial support and global reach needed to succeed in today’s marketplace”.
The resort has been designed to deliver a comprehensive upscale guest experience, featuring a restaurant, lounge, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, expansive terrace and flexible indoor and outdoor event spaces. The development is expected to appeal to leisure travelers, groups, corporate retreats and special events, further supporting the growth of tourism in the region.
The property will be managed by HSC Group Hospitality, a Georgian-Swiss hospitality management company with experience across hotel development, operations and asset management. The project represents the first international hotel chain property in the Gurjaani Municipality and will become only the third internationally branded hotel in the Kakheti region.
“We believe Best Western Premier Vachnadziani will play an important role in showcasing Kakheti to international travelers while contributing to the continued growth of Georgia’s tourism sector,” said Giorgi Dolidze, CEO of HSC Group Hospitality. “The strength of the Best Western brand, its global distribution platform, established loyalty programs and international network made BWH Hotels an ideal partner for this project. We are excited to bring a new level of hospitality to the region while preserving and celebrating the authentic character that makes Kakheti unique.”
The signing was facilitated through the longstanding relationship between the ownership group, HSC Group Hospitality and Capitol HPS, whose collaboration helped identify the opportunity to bring the Best Western Premier brand to the destination. The project underscores growing interest from hotel owners and developers in leveraging international brands to support regional tourism growth and attract new guest segments.
As demand for experiential travel and wine tourism continues to grow, Best Western Premier Vachnadziani will further elevate Kakheti’s profile as one of Georgia’s premier tourism and hospitality destinations.
