Centara Grand at CentralWorld will introduce two beers shaped by Bavaria’s longstanding brewing tradition. König Ludwig Weissbier is a naturally cloudy wheat beer with a refreshingly smooth character, while Kaltenberg Royal Lager offers an elegant, well-balanced expression of classic Bavarian brewing.
Both beers draw on a brewing heritage closely connected to Bavaria’s royal House of Wittelsbach, whose documented association with brewing dates back to 1260. Kaltenberg Castle was built in 1292 by Duke Rudolf I of Bavaria and later became home to the castle brewery. In 1976, Prince Luitpold of Bavaria, great-grandson of Bavaria’s last king, Ludwig III, took responsibility for the castle and brewery, continuing the family’s brewing tradition for a new generation. König Ludwig Weissbier and Kaltenberg Royal Lager carry this heritage forward in two contrasting styles.
To mark the occasion, Centara Grand at CentralWorld will present a series of beer experiences across Red Sky Bar, Ventisi and Tea & Tipple, giving guests several ways to discover both labels.From now on – 4 October 2026, Ventisi will bring a taste of Oktoberfest to its International Grand Dinner Buffet and Sunday Grand Lunch Buffet with Bavarian-inspired specialities accompanied by Royal Bavarian Beer. The Grand Dinner Buffet is served from 18.00 to 22.30 hrs and priced at THB 2,590++ per person, while the Sunday Grand Lunch Buffet is available from 12.00 to 15.00 hrs at THB 2,650++ per person. Free-flow Royal Bavarian draught beer can be added for THB 499++ per person.
At Red Sky Bar will offer one hour of unlimited König Ludwig Weissbier and Kaltenberg Royal Lager for THB 1,399 net per person. The offer is available during the bar’s operating hours from 16.00 to 01.00 hrs, providing an opportunity to enjoy the beers alongside panoramic views of Bangkok.
At Tea & Tipple, guests can ease into the evening with a Royal Bavarian Beer Happy Hour throughout September. From 16.00 to 18.00 hrs, guests who order a draught König Ludwig Weissbier or Kaltenberg Royal Lager will receive a second glass complimentary.
