Tickets to the 2026 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA) have sold out as excitement builds ahead of the travel industry’s night of nights at the Palladium at Crown Melbourne on Saturday 10 October.

The sell-out caps a record year for the awards, with more than 21,000 votes cast and more nominations than any previous year. Winners will be named across 39 categories on the night which has cemented its reputation as the centrepiece of the travel industry’s events calendar.

Presented by the Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA), the NTIA Gala is the highlight of the industry’s biggest weekend of the year in Melbourne. The Beyond Borders Travel Summit runs at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday 9 October, followed that evening by the Viking NTIA Finalist Celebration at Aerial Melbourne, with the Wellness 5K kicking off the Saturday program at parkrun Albert Park.

Singapore Airlines returns as Major Sponsor of the NTIA for a fifth consecutive year. TTC Tour Brands’ Trafalgar will welcome guests as Arrival Sponsor, Virgin Australia joins as MC Sponsor, Helloworld Travel is sponsoring the Gala entertainment and CVFR Travel Group will keep the celebrations going as the official NTIA Afterparty Sponsor.

Viking returns as sponsor of the 2026 Finalist Celebration, giving finalists and the wider industry the chance to kick off the weekend’s celebrations on the Friday night.

Quotes attributable to ATIA CEO Dean Long:

“The NTIA is our night of nights and this year it’s bigger and better than ever. Selling out tells you exactly where the industry is at: people want to be in the room to back their colleagues and celebrate a year of hard work. It’s going to be a great night.”

“Our sponsors make this possible. Singapore Airlines has stood behind these awards for five years running, and with Trafalgar, Virgin Australia, Helloworld Travel, CVFR Group and Viking on board, we’ll put on a night the whole industry looks forward to. We’re incredibly grateful for their support.”
