Luxury Escapes has released 200 Economy seats on its direct Melbourne to Malé flights for one single Societe point (+$100 in taxes & surcharges)*, as part of its first ever limited-time Points Plane to Paradise flight.
The announcement comes as Luxury Escapes prepares to launch its Melbourne–Maldives service as a year-round route from January 2027, following the strong response to its seasonal service, which took off in May as Australia’s first ever direct connection to the Maldives.
Société members can redeem one Société Point for a one-way Economy seat on the final Melbourne-to-Malé flight of 2026. The offer is available for now until all 200 seats have been snapped up.
The flight will depart Melbourne on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, giving travellers the chance to turn a single rewards point into a direct flight towards turquoise lagoons, white-sand beaches and the luxe resorts of the Maldives. A range of accommodation packages have been tailored to suit family, couples and group bookings.
Luxury Escapes will recommence its year-round Melbourne–Maldives service from 12 January 2027, with a weekly direct flight and bookings are already building for the 2027 season, including flights and accommodation bundle deals.

Luxury Escapes launched its free-to-join rewards program Société in April 2025 to recognise and reward its members with earn and redeem options, as well as status tiers. The Points Plane to Paradise offer is available exclusively as part of the newly launched Société Reward Seats.
New members who join (for free) will be gifted 100 Welcome Points and can use one of those points for the Points to Paradise Maldives Economy flight.
