Luxury Escapes has unveiled its newest Signature Series experience, a nine-day culinary journey through China hosted by food personalities Diana Chan and Khanh Ong, departing in April next year.
Drawing on their personal connections to Asian cuisine, the pair will guide travellers through Xi’an’s bustling street food markets, dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Shanghai and take part in a hands-on traditional dumpling-making class at Tang Dynasty Palace, where travellers will cook with the two MasterChef Australia alumni.
Alongside unforgettable culinary experiences, the exclusive itinerary will take travellers beyond the dining table to China’s most recognised landmarks and five-star stays. From exploring Beijing’s Forbidden City, coming face to face with Xi’an’s Terracotta Warriors and the Great Wall of China, travellers will experience a journey that brings together the country’s history, culture and cuisine.
The launch comes as interest in China continues to build among Australian travellers. Luxury Escapes hotel bookings among Aussie customers increased 174% in 2025 and a further 53% in the first seven months of 2026.
Diana Chan said the experience allows travellers to explore China’s culture and food in one journey.
