International Rail, Australasia’s dedicated global rail booking specialist, is pleased to be part of the global rebranding of the reputable Eurail to the newly announced Interrail, bringing travellers from around the world together under one unified rail Pass brand.
The Melbourne‑based, locally owned and operated rail wholesaler is approaching 21 years of partnership with Eurail, and owner and managing director Jonathan Hume says the team has seen first‑hand how important the Eurail Pass has been in helping Australian and New Zealand travellers discover Europe by rail.
“Eurail has an incredible history stretching back more than 65 years, so it’s significant to see such a well‑known name evolve. We’re excited to be part of this next chapter as Eurail becomes Interrail, and to continue helping travellers experience the freedom and flexibility of exploring Europe by train for many years to come,” Hume said.
He added that the key message for agents is that while the name has changed, clients with existing Eurail Passes will not be affected. All passes remain valid, and travellers will continue to enjoy the same products, benefits and flexibility, now under the Interrail name.
Interrail provides access to rail travel across up to 33 European countries, allowing travellers to create their own itinerary and explore Europe by rail at their own pace.
