Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport (WSI) has today unveiled its launch carpark prices for those travelling from Sunday 25 October onwards, when passenger services will take-off at Sydney’s new 24-hour global gateway.
WSI is also offering three hours free parking to come and experience Sydney’s newest airport and Australia’s first major greenfield domestic and international airport in more than 50 years. The three hours free parking offer will be available to book online from October 12, for visits from October 26 for a limited time.

- Parking from $15 a day in Long-stay

WSI CEO Simon Hickey said today’s launch was an important milestone as the airport prepares for its first flights to take off, with some terrific deals on offer for passengers.
“WSI is going to be a gamechanger for Greater Sydney, and we made the most of the unique opportunity to design and build a best-in-class airport from the ground up. We are thrilled to offer people the opportunity to come and experience their newest airport, free of charge, with three hours free parking from launch,” he said.
“The majority of passengers typically travel to and from the airport by car, so we’ve focussed on delivering a great product that provides choice and flexibility for our customers. This means they’re in the driver’s seat and can select the option that best suits their needs.
“With two thirds of Sydney’s population living within a 45- minute drive of WSI, and newly upgraded roads including the toll-free M12 providing efficient connectivity to the airport, we hope these launch offers will entice people to fly from WSI or just come for a visit to experience the brand-new terminal for themselves.”
WSI’s precinct has over 6,000 carparking spaces, across Premium (P1 and P2 covered), Saver (P2 uncovered) and Long-stay (P4). Travellers can also access a free 15-minute express pick-up and drop-off zone.
Premium and Saver parking in P1 and P2 are within a short two-to-three-minute walk from the terminal, swiftly connecting customers from aircraft to road to continue their journey. Long-stay P4 is a short, free shuttle bus ride from the terminal.
The seamless online booking allows customers to input their licence plate, enabling quick and easy entry to WSI’s carpark using licence plate recognition technology.
Today’s announcement further strengthens WSI’s integrated ground transport options, which offer a range of convenient travel options – from public bus links, taxi, rideshare, and extensive on-site parking. A suite of Australia’s leading car rental agencies will also provide WSI customers with a range of hire options across five rental agencies – Hertz, Avis, Budget, Europcar and Redspot – when flights take off in October.
WSI’s three hours free parking offer will be available to book online at wsiairport.com.au/parking from October 12, for visits from October 26, with terms and conditions to follow closer to the date.
WSI commenced cargo operations on 27 July 2026, while passenger services will be taking off from Sunday 25 October 2026.
The 24-hour global gateway is Australia’s first major international greenfield airport development in more than 50 years, providing a world-class experience for travellers while supporting economic growth and enhanced connectivity for Greater Sydney.
