Newsbrief #49: SWISS nimmt Flüge nach Dubai Ende Oktober wieder aufÂ
Ab dem 27. Oktober 2026 verbindet SWISS Zürich wieder täglich mit Dubai und nimmt die Metropole am Arabischen Golf damit erneut in ihren regulären Flugplan auf. Die Verbindung unter der Flugnummer LX242/243 wird im Winterflugplan überwiegend mit einem Airbus A340-300 durchgeführt. Damit bieten wir unseren Gästen auf dieser Strecke auch die Premium Economy Class an.
Die ursprünglich zum Start des Winterflugplans am 25. und 26. Oktober vorgesehenen Flüge können aus operativen Gründen nicht durchgeführt werden. Betroffene Passagiere werden über die Annullierung informiert und auf alternative Verbindungen umgebucht. SWISS beobachtet die Lage weiterhin aufmerksam und prüft sie laufend gemeinsam mit den zuständigen Behörden in der Schweiz und vor Ort sowie in Abstimmung mit der Lufthansa Group. Die Sicherheit ihrer Fluggäste und Mitarbeitenden hat für SWISS jederzeit höchste Priorität.
Newsbrief #49: SWISS to resume flights to Dubai at the end of OctoberÂ
From 27 October 2026, SWISS will once again connect Zurich and Dubai with a daily service, returning the metropolis on the Arabian Gulf to its regular flight schedule. The service, operating under flight numbers LX242/243, will mainly be operated by an Airbus A340-300 during the winter schedule. This means that our guests will also be able to enjoy Premium Economy Class on this route.
The flights originally scheduled for 25 and 26 October, at the start of the winter flight schedule, cannot be operated for operational reasons. Affected passengers will be informed of the cancellations and rebooked onto alternative connections. Our Service Center is available around the clock on +41 (0)848 700 700 to assist affected customers.
SWISS continues to monitor the situation closely and assess it on an ongoing basis together with the relevant authorities in Switzerland and locally, as well as in coordination with the Lufthansa Group. The safety of its passengers and employees remains SWISS’s highest priority.

À partir du 27 octobre 2026, SWISS reliera à nouveau Zurich à Dubaï avec un vol quotidien, réintégrant ainsi la métropole du Golfe arabique dans son horaire régulier. La liaison, opérée sous les numéros de vol LX242/243, sera principalement assurée par un Airbus A340-300 durant l’horaire d’hiver. Nous pourrons ainsi également proposer la classe Premium Economy à nos passagers sur cette route.
Les vols initialement prévus les 25 et 26 octobre, au début de l’horaire d’hiver, ne pourront pas être assurés pour des raisons opérationnelles. Les passagers concernés seront informés de ces annulations et réacheminés sur des vols alternatifs.
