Australia’s travel advisors have a strong reason to sharpen their Nordic knowledge. 50 Degrees North has confirmed a $25,000 prize pool for its Nordic Roadshow 2026 as registrations near capacity.
The three-city trade event lands in Brisbane on 13 October, Adelaide on 14 October and Melbourne on 16 October. Brisbane and Melbourne will each host lunch and evening sessions. Adelaide will hold one evening session. That gives advisors five chances to meet Nordic suppliers face to face.
There is also rather more on offer than coffee, brochures and polite small talk.
A $5,000 50 Degrees North travel voucher will be awarded at each session to one registered guest who attends that day or night. Most of the seven suppliers are bringing prizes as well. Those extras include complimentary stays at selected Nordic properties.
The real value, though, may be the knowledge advisors take home.
Salla Ekman, Head of Partnerships APAC at 50 Degrees North, said the Roadshow focused on direct contact with the people behind Nordic travel experiences.
“It’s a chance for advisors to meet the people behind some of the most sought-after experiences in the Nordic region,” Ekman said. She added that hearing directly from suppliers could give advisors knowledge that makes a genuine difference when speaking with clients.
That sort of insight matters. Travellers are no longer looking only for a quick dash north, a photograph of the aurora and a fast retreat to somewhere warm. Many want deeper, more personal journeys.
This year’s line-up covers stays, coastal voyages and guided experiences across Finland, Norway and Iceland. Finland is represented by Arctic TreeHouse Hotel and Aurora Village. Norway brings Havila Voyages, Nordic Hotels & Resorts, Norway’s Best and The Arctic Resort Company. Southcoast Adventure flies the Icelandic flag.
For advisors, the mix offers a useful spread of products. It includes Arctic stays, Northern Lights experiences, Norwegian coastal journeys, resorts, and Icelandic adventures. Better still, real people are on hand to explain how those products work for different clients.
A product sheet can list room types and inclusions. A supplier can tell an advisor why a traveller may fall in love with the place. That remains hard to replace.
The 2026 Roadshow follows a successful 2025 edition. The official event page says every product featured can be booked through 50 Degrees North. It also includes destination support and 24/7 emergency assistance.
With registrations nearing capacity, interested advisors may want to move rather faster than a reindeer in December. The combination of specialist knowledge, supplier access and a $25,000 prize pool gives this Roadshow plenty of reason to draw a crowd.
Registrations are open through the official 50 Degrees North Nordic Roadshow 2026 page.
