The Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB) is marking the first anniversary of the Tumon Night Market, which launched on August 3, 2025, and continues to bring residents, visitors, local businesses, artists and entrepreneurs together in the heart of Tumon.

Over the past year, the Tumon Night Market has also become a unique platform for cultural exchange, creating opportunities to welcome and showcase not only Guam’s talented local performers, but also visiting and international artists. From Japan’s Yosakoi Team Amata and the Gamagori City Junior Band, to the U.S. Marine Corps Forces (MARFORPAC) Band, the Falun Dafa Waist Drum Team from Taiwan, and many more, the market has provided residents and visitors with opportunities to experience music, dance, and cultural traditions from Guam and around the world.

The Tumon Night Market began in 2025 as a 10-Sunday pilot designed to provide a family-friendly gathering place where residents and visitors could experience local food, entertainment, products and activities. The inaugural market on August 3, 2025, welcomed more than 3,000 residents and visitors and featured more than 45 vendors, including food trucks, food booths, retail pop-ups and interactive booths.

“The Tumon Night Market has become a place where our community comes together and where visitors can experience Guam through our people, our food, our music and our creativity,” said Régine Biscoe Lee, GVB President and CEO. “As we celebrate this first year, we are grateful to the vendors, performers, partners and community members who continue to make the market a success. The spirit of inafa’maolek is reflected in the way our community celebrates what makes Guam special, supports local businesses and creates opportunities to share experiences with visitors, military service members, and our local residents.”

Throughout its first year, the market has grown into a space for local entrepreneurs, artists and community organizations to connect with residents and visitors. In 2026, GVB also partnered with the Guam Economic Development Agency (GEDA) to provide additional opportunities and visibility for Guam Product Seal holders and local entrepreneurs.

Following its first anniversary in August, the Tumon Night Market continues throughout September at Tumon Sands Plaza with themed Sundays for residents and visitors:

September 13 – Southern Comfort

September 20 – Island Idols

September 27 – K-Pop Night

Guests can enjoy live music, food and drink vendors, local businesses and pop-ups every Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Tumon Sands Plaza. The Tumon Night Market is free and family friendly.

GVB encourages residents and visitors to come out, support local vendors and performers, and enjoy another year of the Tumon Night Market, a growing gathering place where Guam’s community, culture and creativity can take center stage while welcoming friends and performers from around the world.
