Sister brands Paul Gauguin Cruises and PONANT EXPLORATIONS are inviting travellers to choose their own way to experience Tahiti and the islands of French Polynesia with the launch of ‘Tempting Tahiti’, a limited-time offer spanning an extensive collection of their French Polynesia voyages in 2026 and 2027.

Five archipelagos. Two ships. One tempting offer.

Paul Gauguin Cruises & PONANT EXPLORATIONS unveil ‘Tempting Tahiti’ offer across French Polynesia

From 1 September to 31 October 2026, guests booking on any 2026 and 2027 voyages aboard m/s Paul Gauguin can receive US$1,000 shipboard credit*, or €1,000 shipboard credit* aboard Le Jacques Cartier’s selection of French Polynesia voyages, per stateroom or suite. The offer can also be combined with the Early Booking Bonus Savings of up to 30% off the brochure fare.

Guests who receive their shipboard credit will be given the freedom to further personalise their voyage, whether indulging in a spa treatment, enjoying premium drinks on board, exploring more with additional shore excursions, take advantage of laundry services or shop at the ships’ onboard boutique.

The offer comes at a time when the PONANT EXPLORATIONS Group is expanding its presence in French Polynesia, bringing together two distinct styles of discovery and offering travellers more opportunities to explore all five of the destination’s spectacular archipelagos and beyond with some sailings reaching Fiji and the Cook Islands.

Building on Paul Gauguin Cruises’ more than 28 years of expertise and year-round presence in the region, m/s Paul Gauguin continues to reveal the iconic islands of the Society archipelago as well as the Tuamotus and Marquesas and authentic Polynesian culture for which the destination is renowned. The arrival of PONANT EXPLORATIONS’ Le Jacques Cartier in French Polynesia this year further expands the Group’s offering, introducing PONANT EXPLORATIONS’ spirit of discovery to remote archipelagos and secluded anchorages visited by few ships such as the Austral and Gambier islands.

Travel Agent Incentive

To further support the launch of the ‘Tempting Tahiti’ offer, the sister brands are also rewarding their valued travel agent partners across Australia and New Zealand. Travel advisors will receive a $200 gift card for every guest booked and deposited on an eligible Tempting Tahiti eligible voyage between 1 September and 31 October 2026.¹ The incentive provides an additional opportunity for advisors to be rewarded while introducing their clients to the expanded range of luxury French Polynesia voyages available across Paul Gauguin Cruises and PONANT EXPLORATIONS.
