TravelManagers’ annual National Conference has wrapped up in Hobart after three days of learning and celebration. Over four hundred personal travel managers (PTMs), partner suppliers, media partners and National Partnership Office (NPO) team members attended the program of plenary sessions, workshops and community-based events, all with an overarching theme of ‘Connection’.
The conference concluded on Thursday evening with a gala awards dinner recognising outstanding achievements during the 2025/26 financial year.
Victoria-based Emma Lucas was named PTM of the Year, with Queensland-based Bronwen Dascombe winning Most Improved Personal Travel Manager as well as Top PTM in Queensland and a place in the top ten. TravelManagers’ Fares and Ticketing Manager, José Cañas, received the Barry Mayo Spirit Award which recognises someone who has been key to developing, maintaining and enhancing TravelManagers’ unique culture.
Formalities concluded on Thursday afternoon with the unveiling of TravelManagers’ chosen location for its 2027 conference.
“The news that we are heading to Manila next year has been received with great enthusiasm,” confirms Executive General Manager, Michael Gazal. “Aside from being a fascinating and vibrant destination, it’s also home to an extension of our NPO support team is located so we are particularly excited to have them joining us for one big celebration.”
