MORNINGTON PENINSULA, VICTORIA, AUGUST 20, 2026: This October, Melbourne International Jazz Festival expands its renowned program to the Mornington Peninsula for the first time, with Jazz at Alba, a three-day celebration of contemporary jazz set among the native gardens and geothermal pools of Alba Thermal Springs & Spa.
Across three days, guests are invited to soak, sip and sway as some of Victoria’s most exciting jazz musicians perform live from the Mornington Peninsula wellness oasis.
Set among Alba’s lush native gardens and geothermal bathing pools, Jazz at Alba invites guests to experience exceptional live music while soaking in warm mineral waters, unwinding in Alba’s signature robes and embracing the tranquillity of one of Victoria’s most unique wellness destinations.

Thursday 22 October, Holly Moore Trio

Saxophonist and composer Holly Moore is celebrated for her distinctive compositional voice and commanding musicianship. Her works have been described as “majestic” (The Age), while The Australian has hailed her as an “outstanding instrumentalist.”
Across two captivating sets, Moore will lead her trio alongside acclaimed guitarist Matt Hoyne and double bassist Robbie Finch.
Friday 23 October, Dean Kalait Trio

Saxophonist Dean Kalait is a new and distinctive voice in Australian jazz, known for his unique blend of lyricism and experimental creativity. His raw, emotive style has a focus on narrative-based storytelling.
Kalait is joined by his exceptional rhythm section, Lily Appelt (double bass) and Quinn Knight (drums).
Sunday 25 October, Milne and Attiche

Award-winning contemporary vocalist Clancye Milne and German-born guitarist Benjamin Attiche bring their heartfelt originals and favourite feel-good jazz standards to life, meeting together with creativity, spontaneity and a deep passion for music.
