IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hotel companies, today announced the signing of Kimpton Phang-Nga Natai Beach, a new-build resort, in partnership with Natai Venture Co., Ltd.

Set to open in 2028, the 150-key beachfront resort will introduce the Kimpton brand to Phang Nga, one of Thailand’s emerging coastal destinations.

With two well-loved and award-winning hotels, Kimpton Kitalay Samui and Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, this latest signing strengthens IHG’s growing presence in southern Thailand and adds to a strong pipeline of future Kimpton properties across Thailand, including Bangkok, Chiang Rai, Hua Hin, Khao Yai and Pattaya, reflecting growing demand for luxury lifestyle hospitality in the market.

Pathana Jitsaereetham, Director, Development, Thailand, IHG Hotels & Resorts said, “We are delighted to bring Kimpton to Natai Beach and expand our luxury and lifestyle portfolio in Thailand, offering travellers greater choice across some of the country’s most sought-after destinations.

As IHG’s second hotel signing in Phang Nga Province, Kimpton Phang-Nga Natai Beach marks an important milestone in our growth strategy and underscores our confidence in the destination’s long-term tourism potential. Supported by ongoing infrastructure investment and improving connectivity, Phang Nga is expected to attract increasing interest from both domestic and international travellers.

Together with Natai Venture, we look forward to creating an exceptional resort experience that will further elevate Natai Beach’s appeal as a luxury lifestyle destination.”

Kimpton Phang-Nga Natai Beach will feature 150 guestrooms, suites and villas nestled within lush tropical landscapes. Guests will enjoy a range of lifestyle-driven experiences, including diverse dining concepts, from all-day restaurants to vibrant beach and lobby bars, alongside a spa, swimming pools, fitness centre, kids’ club and versatile function spaces.

Located on Natai Beach in Phang Nga, just 20 minutes from Phuket International Airport, the resort is well positioned to capitalise on the destination’s growing appeal. The upcoming Andaman International Airport in Phang Nga, targeted to open in 2032, will enhance regional connectivity and support its long-term growth as a vibrant travel destination.

With direct access to one of Thailand’s most pristine coastlines, the resort will offer a distinctive beachfront escape shaped by the natural beauty and relaxed rhythm of Natai Beach. Blending design-led experiences and with a strong sense of place, it will provide guests with an engaging and memorable stay that celebrates the destination’s unique character.

Naphat Boontanonda, Director, Natai Venture Co., Ltd., said, “Phang Nga is renowned for its breathtaking natural landscapes, from pristine beaches and dramatic limestone formations to its tranquil coastal setting. Travellers increasingly seek authentic experiences combined with a growing appetite for lifestyle experiences, we believe Natai Beach is exceptionally well-positioned to meet this demand.

Titiwat Kuvijitsuwan, Director of Natai Venture Co., Ltd and CEO of Capstone Asset, the shareholder and development partner of Kimpton Phang-Nga Natai Beach, said, “We look forward to working closely with the IHG team to create a world-class lifestyle resort that showcases the best of Phang Nga, while introducing a compelling social and dining destination for both visitors and the local community.” Capstone Asset is one of Thailand’s leading real estate and hospitality developers, with a proven track record of delivering landmark projects, including Kimpton Kitalay Samui, the first Kimpton resort in Asia.

IHG currently operates 42 hotels across 11 brands in Thailand, with a further 39 properties in the pipeline, and is committed to introducing new brands and new stay experiences across the country. Kimpton Phang Nga Natai Beach is the second IHG resort to be signed in Phang Nga after InterContinental Phang Nga Bay Resort.
