HOTELEX Shenzhen 2026 has opened its Hosted Buyer Programme to global hotel, food and beverage buyers.
The trade show will run from 13 to 15 October 2026 at Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Centre. It is part of the wider Connexion Shenzhen event. The official event site currently lists an estimated 2,000 exhibitors and more than 120,000 trade buyers across nine halls.
The offer is aimed at importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers and franchise groups. It gives approved buyers a planned route through a very large show.
That is the key benefit. Buyers do not have to roam the halls and hope the right supplier appears. Instead, the team matches them with firms that fit their needs. Meetings are shaped around product goals, target markets and buying plans. Official event information confirms that focused business matching will connect overseas buyers, channel partners, sourcing specialists and exhibitors.
It is a sound idea. Nobody has improved a sourcing trip by walking nine halls with a flat phone, sore feet and a vague sense of optimism.
The show will cover coffee, tea, drinks, food, kitchen gear, tableware, bakery lines and catering supplies. It will also feature products for hotels, shops and foodservice groups.
Approved buyers can join scheduled business meetings and use dedicated onsite facilities. Selected transport and guest services will also be offered. International visitors can register for complimentary admission, while visa invitation support is available for eligible travellers who need it.
A wider overseas buyer package will link Shenzhen with the 2026 Autumn Canton Fair in Guangzhou. Approved guests may receive a one-night hotel stay, local transport and an onward shuttle towards Guangzhou. Lounge access, a business lunch and matchmaking services may also be included.
Places are limited, however, and an application does not ensure approval. Buyers must provide verified company details, clear sourcing needs and supporting documents. The application deadline for the dual-city package is 24 September 2026.
Shenzhen gives the show a strong base. The city sits within the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area and serves as a major centre for trade, technology and manufacturing.
The venue is about seven kilometres from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport’s Terminal 3 and is served by Metro lines 12 and 20. That gives visiting buyers a fighting chance of arriving with both their luggage and patience intact.
There will be more than buying on the agenda. HOTELEX Shenzhen plans industry forums, coffee championships, cooking events and specialist contests covering drinks, chocolate and pizza.
Buyers can therefore test products, meet suppliers and gain a clearer view of the market in one trip. The conference program will also examine hospitality trends, central kitchens, food production, business change and sustainable growth.
The commercial pitch is simple. Buyers arrive with a list. Sellers meet people with genuine plans to buy. Both sides save time, and fewer business cards end their days forgotten in the mysterious depths of a desk drawer.
Applications are now open. The organiser’s line, “Connect to China, Develop in HOTELEX”, sums up the proposition neatly.

Christine’s story is one of quiet courage, told without fuss and lived with remarkable grace. She arrived in Australia as a young refugee from Vietnam, carrying little more than hope, family, and a curiosity that refused to be extinguished. Sydney became home, built patiently, brick by careful brick.
She studied Tourism at TAFE and soon found her place in inbound travel, working with one of the city’s leading destination companies. Christine loved showing visitors the Australia that lives beyond postcards, warmer, truer, and far more interesting.
When the sea began to whisper, and life asked for a gentler rhythm, she listened. Designing brochures, writing blogs, she discovered storytelling waiting quietly inside her.
