Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok unveils a new chapter for Sra Bua, its signature contemporary Thai restaurant and one of Bangkok’s pioneering fine dining destinations for more than 15 years. Renamed Sra Bua by Num Weerawat, the restaurant introduces a new culinary philosophy inspired by Thailand’s remarkable biodiversity, celebrating seasonal ingredients, heritage rice varieties and the country’s rich fermentation traditions. The restaurant will commence its soft launch from today onwards, serving dinner exclusively.

Sra Bua by Num Weerawat presents an immersive dining experience that extends beyond the menu. Highlights include the Rice Heritage Programme, Fermentation & Preservation Programme, and Biodiversity Exhibition Journey, thoughtfully curated to offer gourmands a deeper appreciation of Thailand’s diverse culinary landscape through contemporary Thai cuisine.

Two dining experiences are available, the ‘Signature Biodiversity Journey’ and the ‘Plants and Roots Forward Journey’, each priced at THB 4,900++ per person.

Dreams in Colour Afternoon Tea

Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok invites afternoon tea enthusiasts to see the world differently with its latest afternoon tea collaboration with Artstory, a charitable initiative under the Autistic Thai Foundation. Aiming to support young artistic talent, the ‘Dreams in Colour’ Afternoon Tea showcases the work of Paveelada ‘Beam’ Anrungruangpan and Weerachot ‘Karn’ Kasonboa, whose imaginations come to life on an exclusive silk-satin scarf presented as a complimentary gift with the experience.

The afternoon tea begins with Chef Franck Istel’s selection of savouries, from Beetroot-cured Salmon with Edible Flowers to Crab Cone with Lemon Caviar, followed by freshly baked classic and apricot-roasted macadamia scones served with raspberry jam, passion fruit curd and Devonshire clotted cream. Sweet creations include Butterfly Pea Flower with Blueberry Compote, Caramel Entremet with White Peach Marmalade, Dragon Fruit inspired by one of Beam’s iconic characters, Hibiscus Raspberry with Vanilla Cream and Lemon Yoghurt Mousse with Pistachio Diamond Cookie.

The storytelling continues beyond the afternoon tea through ART Promenade, the hotel’s temporary art exhibition featuring 16 artworks by the two featured artists, alongside works by three additional artists from the Autistic Thai Foundation.

The ‘Dreams in Colour’ Afternoon Tea invites guests to see the world differently, celebrating the belief that everyone can contribute to creating positive change for a better future. Available from 4 August 2026, the afternoon tea is priced at THB 1,690++ per person and includes one complimentary silk-satin scarf.

Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok presents an extraordinary one-night-only culinary collaboration, bringing together four of Asia’s most celebrated chefs under one roof. On 12 August 2026, Chef Goh Fukuyama and Chef Gaggan Anand of GohGan, Chef Weerawat ‘Num’ Triyasenawat of Sra Bua by Num Weerawat and Chef Dej Kewkacha unite for an exceptional dining experience that promises to be one of Bangkok’s most anticipated gastronomic events of the year.

Created exclusively for this evening, the bespoke tasting menu showcases the creative synergy between the chefs, blending contemporary French, Japanese, Indian and Thai influences through their distinctive culinary philosophies and modern techniques. The experience concludes with an unforgettable dessert presentation by internationally acclaimed pastry chef Chef Dej Kewkacha, providing a fitting finale to this remarkable collaboration.

GohGan x Chef Num x Chef Dej will take place for one night only on 12 August 2026 at Sra Bua by Num Weerawat, two rounds only at 17:00 and 20:30. The experience is priced at THB 12,000++ per person.

For two evenings only, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok welcomes Chef Goh Fukuyama, the visionary behind GOH in Fukuoka, Japan, for his first-ever culinary residency in Thailand. Renowned for his contemporary French cuisine, Chef Fukuyama masterfully combines refined French techniques with Kyushu’s exceptional seasonal ingredients and artisanal craftsmanship.

Specially created for this exclusive residency, Chef Fukuyama’s multi-course tasting menu celebrates the vibrant flavours of Kyushu in summer, showcasing premium ingredients sourced from the region’s fertile land and pristine waters. Each course reflects his signature style—thoughtful, elegant and ingredient-driven—offering guests an authentic expression of one of Japan’s most celebrated culinary destinations.

GOH has been recognised among Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants since 2016, including No. 36 in 2025 and No. 60 in 2026. The restaurant has also been honoured by La Liste and The Best Chef Awards, further cementing Chef Fukuyama’s reputation as one of Asia’s leading culinary talents.

Chef Goh Fukuyama in Bangkok will be available for two evenings only, on 13 and 14 August 2026, with two dinner seatings at 17:30 and 20:30. The experience is priced at THB 6,500++ per person.
