Construction has officially begun on Eden Retreat’s newest wellness experience – a Treehouse designed for grown ups and perched high above the Currumbin Valley, where guests will enjoy spa treatments among the treetops with uninterrupted views across the surrounding World Heritage-listed national park.
Designed as a secluded sanctuary immersed in nature, the Treehouse Spa will introduce couples treatments to Eden Retreat for the first time, allowing guests to enjoy massages side-by-side while listening to birdsong and taking in the sights and sounds of the rainforest canopy.
The elevated space has been designed as a flexible wellness sanctuary that will also host intimate sound meditation sessions, guided mindfulness experiences and private stargazing evenings beneath the Gold Coast hinterland’s clear night skies.
Eden Retreat General Manager Ash Martin said the new treehouse represented the next chapter in the retreat’s vision to create deeply immersive wellness experiences inspired by nature.
“From the moment guests step into the treehouse, they’ll feel as though they’ve escaped into another world,” Martin said.
“We’ve always believed that nature is one of the greatest healers, and this space has been designed to immerse guests completely in the beauty and tranquillity of the Currumbin Valley.”

The development builds on a series of recent investments at Eden Retreat, including the launch of the Eden Vitality Centre, reinforcing the retreat’s position as one of Australia’s leading luxury wellness destinations.
Construction is now underway, with the Treehouse Spa expected to welcome its first guests later this year.
