TravelManagers has planted a sizeable flag in the premium travel market. The company sent its largest-ever delegation to ILTM Asia Pacific in Singapore. It was a confident display from a network that clearly means business.
Nearly 40 representatives attended the invitation-only event. The group included 35 Personal Travel Managers, or PTMs, and staff from the National Partnership Office. It was TravelManagers’ biggest ILTM contingent to date. In luxury terms, that is less a quiet arrival and more a polished entrance through the front doors.

ILTM Asia Pacific ran from 29 June to 2 July 2026. It was held at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands. The event brought leading luxury travel buyers and suppliers together. TravelManagers’ group joined three days of scheduled meetings, learning and networking. More than 650 travel brands took part.
For the PTMs, the week was about more than swapping business cards beneath Singapore’s bright skyline. Many have built strong businesses around luxury travel. They use sound product knowledge and trusted supplier ties to create rare and personal holidays.

That work may look effortless to the client. Behind the scenes, however, it takes skill, judgement and an impressive number of well-timed conversations.
PTM Mel Harrop said, “it was such a wonderful week to work on our business and relationships with luxury partners in the industry.”
PTM Dom Bellissimo agreed: “I can certainly see ILTM’s value and really enjoyed connecting with suppliers.”
Their comments go to the heart of the event. Luxury travel still runs on trust. Advisers need direct access to suppliers. Suppliers need advisers who understand their product and their clients. No glossy brochure can replace that relationship, however expensive the paper.
TravelManagers Executive General Manager Michael Gazal said the team made a strong impression.
“So many suppliers knew TravelManagers well and commented on our value to their business, and how friendly, professional and engaged our team was. The feeling was mutual; our PTMs left the Market with so much knowledge, fantastic new connections, and unforgettable experiences.
“A huge thank you to the ILTM organisers for an incredible event and having our biggest group yet as part of it.”
The record turnout also carries strategic weight. TravelManagers has a nationwide network of experienced personal travel managers. ILTM describes its Asia Pacific show as a meeting place for high-end suppliers, buyers and media.
A larger presence gives more advisers first-hand product knowledge. It also gives suppliers direct contact with people who shape premium holiday choices.
PTM Michelle Smith summed up the mood: “It was very productive and I am sure I speak for everyone: We felt proud to say we were from TravelManagers. It was amazing.”
That pride was more than conference sparkle. It reflected a business with growing authority in the luxury sector.
TravelManagers arrived in Singapore with its biggest group yet. It left with stronger ties, sharper knowledge and a clear message: its luxury ambitions are travelling first class.

Bridget has never been built for stillness. Of Portuguese heritage, she began as a nurse, tending veterans at the Repatriation Hospital, listening to stories as colourful as the life she was yet to live. It was worthy, steady work, but wanderlust, as always, proved louder than routine.
So, she traded starch for a backpack and disappeared for a year, chasing trains, sunsets and the occasional regrettable glass of wine. She wrote everything down: the dust, the laughter, the missteps, the magic. Those notebooks became a travel blog, then a habit, then a calling.
Eventually she found Global Travel Media, or perhaps it found her.
Today Bridget writes with heart, humour and a dash of mischief, still travelling, just now with words.
