Marking three-quarters of a century since its first experimental vintage, this milestone celebrates Grange’s remarkable evolution from an experimental wine to one of the world’s most collectable and consistently celebrated fine wines. Over its 75-year history, Grange has garnered global acclaim, receiving more than 37 perfect scores from leading wine critics, cementing its place among the world’s most celebrated wines. Notable accolades include the 1990 Grange, named Wine Spectator’s Wine of the Year; the 2001 Grange, recognised by The Wall Street Journal as Wine of the Year; and the 2008 Grange, the first Australian wine to achieve a perfect 100 points from both Wine Spectator and Wine Advocate. More recently, the 2015 Grange was awarded 100 points by both Andrew Caillard MW and Nick Stock, while the 2018 Grange stands among the most highly decorated vintages, receiving multiple 100-point scores globally.
To commemorate this milestone, Penfolds marked the occasion with celebratory wine and food pairing dinners in Hong Kong.
