Intrepid Travel has taken its partnership with North Melbourne Football Club beyond the stadium, hosting an exclusive 10-day small group adventure through Western Australia for passionate Kangaroos fans.
The one-off Roos Out West Adventure saw travellers follow the club across consecutive home matches in Bunbury and Perth while experiencing some of Western Australia’s highlights, including Perth, Margaret River and Rottnest Island, alongside exclusive football experiences not available to the general public.
The Tailor-Made itinerary combined Intrepid’s signature locally led travel experiences with behind-the-scenes access to the club, including training sessions, dinners with North Melbourne legends Brent “Boomer” Harvey and Peter Bell, time with current player Dylan Stephens, match tickets to both games, and a surprise guard of honour experience.

Intrepid Travel ANZ General Manager Yvette Thompson said: “Sport and travel both have a special way of bringing people together, so we wanted to build on our partnership by creating a trip that went beyond the game. It gave fans exclusive access to the club while experiencing the best of Western Australia with a local Intrepid leader.”
North Melbourne Football Club Chief Commercial Officer, Orry Lack, said: “This trip was a fantastic way to bring our partnership with Intrepid to life. It gave our members and supporters the chance to connect with the club beyond game day. Seeing our supporters travel together throughout WA, spend time with our current and past players, and build new connections along the way made it a really special experience.”
The departure received glowing feedback from guests, with travellers praising the camaraderie, exclusive experiences and the expertise of their local Intrepid leader throughout the journey.
The Roos Out West Adventure forms part of Intrepid’s partnership with North Melbourne Football Club, using shared experiences to introduce new audiences to the company’s core small group adventure offering.
