Royal Caribbean and The Wiggles are helping families grow a new kind of family tree. To celebrate the arrival of The Wiggles’ much-loved ‘Tree of Wisdom’ character on Wiggly Cruises this summer, Royal Caribbean and The Wiggles have partnered with Planet Ark ahead of National Tree Day on 26 July to plant a tree in Queensland or New South Wales for the first 1000 families that books one of three Wiggly-themed sailings during the summer 2026-27 season with a donation of $20,000. The partnership will transform family holidays into a lasting environmental legacy, creating a living reminder of the ultimate family holiday for generations to come.

The two iconic family brands have joined forces with Australian environmental not-for-profit Planet Ark to mark the arrival of the ‘Tree of Wisdom’ – The Wiggles’ beloved dancing tree character – joining the lineup of activities on Wiggly Cruises onboard Quantum and Anthem of the Seas. By connecting one of The Wiggles’ most popular characters with a meaningful tree-planting initiative, the partnership celebrates family adventure, imagination and sustainability, encouraging families to make a positive impact both onboard and ashore.

“We are thrilled to bring the joy of a Wiggly holiday together with a meaningful environmental legacy. By supporting native tree planting through this partnership, we are turning holiday excitement into real action,” said Kathryn Lock, senior marketing director, Australia and New Zealand, Royal Caribbean. “Following the success of our first summer season with The Wiggles, we’re excited to be levelling up the partnership offering and dialing up memorable family experiences, especially with the addition of the fan-favourite ‘Tree of Wisdom’ who we can’t wait to have onboard with the rest of the Wiggly crew.”

As a tribute to every family who books a Wiggly-themed sailing this season, the Royal Caribbean Group Foundation is donating $20,000 to grow greener communities with the planting of native trees across Queensland and New South Wales through Planet Ark’s official restoration sites.

“Partnering with iconic brands Royal Caribbean and The Wiggles allows us to reach Australian families on a massive scale. By embedding environmental action into the holiday experience, we are turning excitement into positive, long-term impact,” said Adam Culley, CEO, Planet Ark. “This initiative doesn’t just plant trees; it fosters a culture of stewardship, showing families that collective action, no matter how small, can lead to significant environmental change and support a greener future.”
