More Vietnamese travelers are choosing Cebu as their next destination. According to digital travel platform Agoda, Cebu recorded the largest increase in travel interest among Vietnamese travelers for the upcoming summer travel season, highlighting the island’s growing appeal among regional visitors.
Known for its blend of beaches, marine adventures, cultural attractions, and city experiences, Cebu offers travelers a variety of experiences within a single destination. Visitors can swim alongside sardine schools and sea turtles in Moalboal, explore the waterfalls of Badian, discover the coastal attractions of Oslob and Sumilon Island, or experience the heritage, food, and urban energy of Cebu City.
Beyond its attractions, Cebu’s accessibility is helping fuel its popularity among travelers from Vietnam. Direct flights connect Cebu with both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, making the island more convenient than ever to reach.
Arrivals are welcomed through Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA), the primary gateway to Central Philippines.
For travelers looking to explore beyond Cebu, MCIA’s extensive domestic network provides convenient access to destinations such as Bohol, Siargao, Camiguin, and Palawan. Through CEB Connect, passengers can enjoy streamlined transfers with connection times of as little as 45 minutes for domestic-to-domestic journeys and 60 minutes for international-to-domestic transfers.
As more Vietnamese travelers seek destinations that combine nature, adventure, culture, and convenience, Cebu continues to stand out as both a destination and a gateway to some of the Philippines’ most sought-after experiences.
