MGallery Collection, Accor’s portfolio of storied boutique hotels, is accelerating its global growth with two significant announcements this month: the opening of Bel Hotel Oléron Thalassa & Spa on France’s Atlantic coast, and the signing of the brand’s first hotel in Rhodes, Greece, in partnership with family-owned hospitality company Colossos SA. Together, the two properties illustrate the pace and range of MGallery’s expansion, from intimate coastal wellness retreats to large-scale adults-only resorts, each shaped by the character of its destination.
A New Wellness Sanctuary on France’s Île d’Oléron
This July, MGallery Collection unveils Bel Hotel Oléron Thalassa & Spa, an oceanfront sanctuary on the storied plage de Gatseau, on the French island of Île d’Oléron. The property’s 102 rooms, including eight suites, inspired by the island’s sea and forest landscapes, are designed as havens of natural light and calm, framing stunning views. Dining is led by the gastronomic touch of starred Chef Pierre Gagnaire, while Spa & Thalasso with 27 treatment cabins, developed with French skincare house Phytomer, anchors the hotel’s wellbeing programme with an indoor swimming pool framed by an elegant mezzanine, hammam, glass-walled sauna and a herbal tea room. The signature M Moment experience, a private beachside picnic at sunset overlooking Gatseau Bay with local delicacies and wine, captures the brand’s focus on turning stays into lasting memories. Accommodation ranges from elegant guest rooms, available from €170 to spacious suites priced from €390 to €1,590 per night.
MGallery’s First Hotel in Rhodes, Signed With Colossos SA
MGallery Collection and Colossos SA have signed an agreement for the brand’s first hotel in Rhodes: a sophisticated, adults-only resort in Kallithea, scheduled to welcome its first guests in Spring 2027. Anchored by a striking ten-storey spiral building offering sea views from every room, the resort will feature 222 guestrooms, suites and bungalows, including 50 secluded pools throughout the resort to create exclusive moments of relaxation in a lush green setting. Wellness facilities include a 1,100-square-metre spa with an indoor pool and hydromassage pool, in partnership with Swiss skincare brands Valmont and Swiss Perfection. Dining will play a central role, with one fine dining restaurant and four specialty venues celebrating both Mediterrean and international cuisine. The hotel becomes MGallery’s seventh in Greece, part of a pipeline set to double the brand’s footprint across the country. Additional facilities will include an outdoor fitness centre, tennis and padel courts.
“MGallery is a collection of hotels with stories rooted in their destinations, and the hotel we are developing in Rhodes captures the essence of Rhodes beautifully. From its inspiring architecture and breathtaking seafront setting to its commitment to wellbeing and authentic connections, the resort reflects everything guests seek from contemporary luxury travel. We are delighted to strengthen MGallery’s presence in Greece with such an exceptional property.”
