The Sixth Hotel From Brady Group Marks A Major Milestone, Cementing Its Position As Victoria’s Largest Privately-Owned Australian Hotel Group

Melbourne – This August, Brady Group will open Brady Hotel Elizabeth Street in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. A stone’s throw from the corner of Elizabeth and Little Lonsdale streets, the 211-room property marks a significant milestone as the sixth addition to the Brady Hotels and Apartments portfolio, cementing Brady Group’s position as Victoria’s largest privately-owned Australian hotel group.

The opening of Brady Hotel Elizabeth Street will see this grow to more than 1,000 rooms, underscoring the group’s steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible accommodation in Victoria.

Situated within walking distance to Melbourne Central train station, as well as the new State Library Station, Brady Hotel Elizabeth Street will offer travellers unmatched access, ensuring seamless transit. In addition, the new hotel’s covetable location, in the midst of Melbourne’s most popular attractions, will provide an authentic Melbourne experience.

These include Queen Victoria Market, Old Melbourne Gaol and Chinatown – experiences that help define Australia’s capital city of culture.

With a 24-hour reception operating seven days a week, the hotel has been intentionally designed for the savvy business or leisure traveller, looking to check-in and check-out the city with ease.

General Manager, Robert Moore shares:

“Brady Hotel Elizabeth Street represents a major step forward for the group, not just in scale but in how we deliver the guest experience in the Melbourne CBD, staying true to our core philosophy of genuine, personalised service.

The new hotel reflects how people travel today — well-located, design-led and highly functional — anchored by a Level 8 skyline lobby that offers a real sense of arrival above the city.”

With 31 floors in total, all bedrooms have been designed with comfort and function front-of-mind, and the Brady Premium King City View rooms, flanking either end of the hotel, will feature wraparound floor-to-ceiling windows, and panoramic views of Melbourne’s CBD and beyond.

On level eight, the hotel’s skyline lobby will overlook the cityscape, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle below. A 23 square metre co-working space on the same level has been designed to accommodate the modern-day professional. In addition, an on-site gym will keep those on-the-go active, whilst an in-house laundry service will ensure a seamless stay.

Founded by Tony Brady in the mid-1990s, Brady Group has grown over the past 30 years to become one of Melbourne’s leading development and real estate businesses, with its portfolio spanning some of the city’s most sought-after addresses.

In 2014 Brady Group identified a gap in the market for well-located CBD accommodation that remained accessible to both business and leisure travellers. This led to the launch of Brady Hotels and Apartments, and today, the brand occupies 806 rooms across Melbourne CBD including: Central Melbourne, Jones Lane, Hardware Lane, Flinders Street and Voco Melbourne Central under franchise.
