Visit Napa Valley, the official destination marketing and management organization for the Napa Valley, announces that its board of directors has elected Mr. Patrick Nayrolles, General Manager of Meadowood Napa Valley, as its chair for fiscal year 2027. Mr. Nayrolles joins a board of leaders from hospitality, wine, and the broader business community, guiding an organization whose work directly supports the jobs and small businesses that depend on the Napa Valley’s tourism economy.

“It is a great honor to take on the role of Chair of Visit Napa Valley,” said Mr. Patrick Nayrolles. “Having lived and worked in the region for much of my life, I continue to be inspired by the passion, hospitality, and sense of community that make the Napa Valley so special. I look forward to working alongside our board, partners, and community to advance Visit Napa Valley’s mission to champion the experiences, people, and places that make our region a truly exceptional destination.”

Mr. Patrick Nayrolles has been at the helm of Meadowood Napa Valley’s renowned hospitality since 2015, continuing his family’s legacy of exceptional guest relations at the property where his father served as general manager from 1986 to 1994. Under Nayrolles’ leadership, Meadowood has received numerous accolades honoring the estate’s signature and bespoke approach to hospitality, including Three Michelin Keys and a dual Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star designation in both Hotel and Spa, a distinction that has been upheld since 2018. Mr. Nayrolles remains a leading force in shaping Napa Valley’s reputation as one of the world’s premier luxury travel destinations, fostering collaboration and setting a benchmark for hospitality across the region.

The new Visit Napa Valley board slate became effective July 1, 2026. Members of the board executive committee for the new fiscal year are:

  • Chair – Mr. Patrick Nayrolles, General Manager, Meadowood Napa Valley
  • Chair Elect – Rick Kaufman, Proprietor, Harvest Inn Napa Valley
  • Vice Chair – Rachel Wilson, General Manager, Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa
  • Secretary/Treasurer – David Shipman, General Manager, White House Napa
  • Past Chair – Ed Costa, Managing Director, Carneros Resort & Spa

Visit Napa Valley board members began their two-year terms effective July 1, 2026. This annual leadership transition comes as the organization also welcomes new board members and refreshes its executive committee for the year ahead, continuing its focus on diversifying Napa Valley’s visitor base and strengthening tourism’s role as an economic driver for the region’s residents, local community, and small businesses.

“This board brings together deep expertise across hospitality, wine, and destination management,” said Visit Napa Valley President & CEO Linsey Gallagher. “Their judgment and experience shape how we balance growth with stewardship—making sure Napa Valley continues to thrive as a place to explore while protecting what makes it so special. I’m grateful for their leadership and confident in what we’ll accomplish together this year.”
