The Medical Agency has put a polished, well-travelled face to its Asian healthcare concierge business, naming American travel and lifestyle creator Caitlin Steiner as its official brand ambassador.

It is a canny appointment. Steiner is not arriving as a rent-a-smile with a ring light and a suitcase full of hashtags. She has spent several years living in Japan and South Korea, has built an Instagram audience of 25,500 followers, and has made her name by showcasing luxury travel, wellness, and beauty through the eyes of a Western expat who knows Asia beyond the hotel lobby.

That matters because medical travel is no longer a fringe itinerary item whispered about between spa appointments. For a growing number of travellers, particularly English-speaking expats and wellness-minded visitors, Asia is being considered not only for temples, tasting menus and turquoise water, but for advanced diagnostics, dental work, fertility services, cosmetic medicine and regenerative therapies.

Founded in 2025, The Medical Agency works as a bespoke healthcare advocate, connecting patients with verified medical providers across Japan, Thailand and Indonesia. Its focus spans regenerative and stem cell therapies, preventative health screenings, fertility treatment, dental procedures, cosmetic medicine and advanced diagnostics.

Steiner’s role is not simply to wave from the brochure. As part of the ambassadorship, she has visited and documented leading medical clinics across Japan, experiencing treatments including IV nutrient therapy, regenerative skin treatments, cosmetic procedures, dental consultations, a comprehensive women’s health screening and access to advanced stem cell treatments currently exclusive to Japan.

“The Medical Agency connects people with the most innovative and advanced healthcare I have ever encountered. I’m genuinely proud to visit the highest quality clinics, experience these treatments first-hand, and share the opportunities with my community,” Steiner said.

Xavier Mito, founder of The Medical Agency, said Steiner was an obvious match for the brand.

“Caitlin is a natural fit for The Medical Agency. Her dedication to health and living life to the fullest mirrors everything we stand for, and we are thrilled to have her leading by example and inspiring others to find the care that they deserve,” Mito said.

Steiner’s background gives the partnership more substance than sparkle. She studied fashion business at LIM College in New York, worked in hospitality marketing across the United States, and served as Sponsorship Chair with the Seoul International Women’s Association. Her Instagram, @itscaitlinsteiner, now showcases her travels and lifestyle, including luxury stays, healthcare, beauty, and wellness.

The move also underlines a broader shift in the travel trade. Health, beauty and longevity are increasingly sitting alongside accommodation, aviation and experiences in the premium travel conversation. The trick, of course, is trust. Nobody wants a cut-price miracle with a checkout counter.

That is where The Medical Agency is pitching its value: verified providers, guided access and a smoother path through medical systems that can be daunting for foreign patients.

Christine Nguyen - Bio PicChristine’s story is one of quiet courage, told without fuss and lived with remarkable grace. She arrived in Australia as a young refugee from Vietnam, carrying little more than hope, family, and a curiosity that refused to be extinguished. Sydney became home, built patiently, brick by careful brick.
She studied Tourism at TAFE and soon found her place in inbound travel, working with one of the city’s leading destination companies. Christine loved showing visitors the Australia that lives beyond postcards, warmer, truer, and far more interesting.
When the sea began to whisper, and life asked for a gentler rhythm, she listened. Designing brochures, writing blogs, she discovered storytelling waiting quietly inside her.
Today, at Global Travel Media, Christine writes with warmth and wisdom, reminding us, softly and persuasively, why travel still matters.
