What happens when one of Australia’s most exciting spirits brands meets one of France’s most iconic desserts?

This July, Bastille Festival visitors will find out as CASA Spirits and Four Frogs unveil an exclusive Crêpe Suzette experience at Bastille Festival Sydney, celebrating the meeting of Australian creativity and French culinary tradition.

Available exclusively from 16–19 July at Circular Quay and The Rocks, the collaboration reimagines the legendary Crêpe Suzette with a CASA Spirits twist, using the brand’s signature Salted Caramel Sour cocktail as part of the flambé process. It’s a unique take on a French classic, bringing together Australian spirits and French gastronomy.

Created by Melbourne-based CASA Spirits in collaboration with Four Frogs, Australia’s leading French crêperie, the experience brings a fresh Australian perspective to one of France’s most beloved desserts. Inspired by the caramelised, citrus-forward flavours of the classic recipe, CASA has developed a signature cocktail that complement and elevate the famous flambéed crêpe.

Visitors will be able to watch the dessert prepared live at two dedicated flambé stations, where chefs will ignite Crêpe Suzettes before their eyes in a theatrical display of fire, flavour and French gastronomy. The combination of flames, cocktails and French indulgence is expected to become one of the festival’s most photographed experiences.

“France has given the world some of its most iconic culinary creations, and the Crêpe Suzette is certainly one of them,” said Georgia James.

WINE AND LA BASTIDE

“For Bastille Festival, we wanted to celebrate that heritage while bringing something uniquely Australian to the table. Partnering with Four Frogs allowed us to reinterpret a timeless French classic through the lens of CASA Spirits.”

Beyond the exclusive collaboration, visitors can also enjoy the dedicated CASA Bar, serving CASA’s range of ready-to-drink cocktails, including Gin Tonic, Vodka Soda, Agave & Soda and Dry Whiskey, alongside handcrafted favourites such as the CASA Espresso Martini and CASA Cinnamon Whiskey.

The collaboration forms part of Bastille Festival Sydney, Australia’s largest celebration of French food, wine and art, transforming Circular Quay and The Rocks into a vibrant French village from 16–19 July.

Over four days, visitors can discover French wines, gourmet food, artisan markets, live entertainment and cultural experiences celebrating the very best of France in the heart of Sydney Harbour, and entry is free.

Bringing together an Australian spirits brand and one of France’s most iconic desserts, the collaboration captures the spirit of Bastille Festival itself: celebrating French culture while embracing local creativity.
