Lyvin Melasti, the cliffside retreat set within the limestone contours of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, has won the Hotel Suite Interior Indonesia category at the 2026 Asia Pacific Property Awards. This international award recognises outstanding achievement in real estate and hospitality design across the region.
The award celebrates the property’s Japandi-inspired interiors, conceived by co-founder and product director Victoria Sokovykh. The design creates a serene dialogue between Japanese minimalism and Indonesian materiality, expressed through honed Sulawesi marble, custom Java teak furniture, and locally sourced ironwood decks that echo the rugged cliffs below.
The estate unfolds across five natural terraces on a three-hectare forest site, with sixteen private pool villas cascading down the hillside to frame uninterrupted 180-degree views of the Indian Ocean. Frameless floor-to-ceiling glazing dissolves the boundary between architecture and landscape, creating a seamless connection between private sanctuary and the surrounding natural environment.

“This award is a proud moment for our entire team. The judges recognised what we set out to achieve from day one: interiors that honour their surroundings rather than compete with them. Every material was chosen to connect our guests with Bali’s landscape, and it’s gratifying to see that philosophy validated on an international stage.”
— Victoria Sokovykh, Co-Founder & Product Director, Lyvin Properties
The recognition comes as Lyvin Melasti enters a transformative new chapter. By the end of 2026, the property will introduce twenty ocean-view one-bedroom suites in the same award-winning Japandi style, a holistic wellness spa, and a new signature restaurant created in partnership with the acclaimed Uluwatu restaurateurs behind local favourites Kala and Lola’s Cantina Mexicana. The collaboration will bring a refined yet community-driven dining concept to the estate, pairing Lyvin’s elevated design philosophy with the vibrant culinary reputation of its new partners.
