Lisboeta Macau continues to explore the fusion of gastronomy, performing arts and culture as “Angela’s Café and Lounge” revives “First Beats Where the Music Begins” on June 20, features three young musicians from Macao, performing with clarinet, piano and flute, and offers a cultural experience where fine dining meets live music. Guests savor signature Portuguese-Macanese cuisine and immerse in the soulful rhythms of music, celebrates Macao’s creativity and hospitality.
“Angela’s Café and Lounge” highlights with nostalgic 1950s ambiance and Portuguese-inspired cuisine to present limited-time Portuguese Dinner Package, offer the main course of “Bitoque (Rump Cap Steak) with Fried Egg, Vegetables and Smoked Ham”, gives different layers of taste with the tender steak or “Pan-fried Sea Bass with Green Olive”, brings the authentic Portuguese style by the freshy taste of olives over the Sea Bass. Guests enjoy welcome drinks, snacks, and free-flowing house wine and beer, with live music setting the tone for a vibrant celebration of flavour and artistry.
“First Beats Where the Music Begins” features three young musicians from Macao: Clarinetist Eevee Lee, Pianist Emily Ka Lei Au, and Flutist Iris Lo. Eevee Lee studied under Professor Yuan Yuan, Principal Clarinet of the China Philharmonic Orchestra and has won numerous awards on the international stage. Her playing style is delicate yet powerful, injecting a diverse musical perspective into the performance. Emily Ka Lei Au, focuses on piano performance and music education, shining in both solo and collaborative performances with a stage presence captivates audiences. Iris Lo, acclaimed for her clear and layered flute tone, has been invited to perform in the Poly Theatre’s national tour, showcasing audiences with artistry and outstanding talent. Three young musicians take the stage at Angela’s Café and Lounge with works by Shostakovich, Joe Hisaishi, and Taro Hakase. Their heartfelt performance embodies the vitality of Macao’s youth in cultural exchange and delivers an unforgettable live experience of artistry and emotion.
