This June, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon is painting the town every color of the rainbow to welcome Pride Month. Get ready for a month-long celebration of creativity, individuality, and unfiltered self-expression through immersive art, colorful experiences, and a special collaboration with Thai artist Prem Buachum, widely known as Prem.artistic.
Bloom As You Are
Known for their expressive and tactile works, Thai artist Prem Buachum (aka Prem.artistic) reimagines flowers and nature as symbols of emotion, freedom, and human connection, inviting guests to explore their creative world in an intimate, approachable way. This June, their collaboration takes center stage for The Standard’s Pride programming, centered around the theme “Bloom As You Are.” Inspired by the beauty of diversity and the freedom to grow into your truest self, the concept uses flowers, soft textures, and playful forms to celebrate the idea that no two blooms are ever the same, yet together they create one stunningly vibrant landscape.
Presented across Tease and The Parlor, the exhibition transforms the hotel’s Instagrammable, monochrome tea room into an artistic floral wonderland filled with knitted flower installations made from fabric scraps, sculptural decorative objects, and thoughtful artistic details placed throughout the space. Launching officially on 1 June and running through 31 July, a limited-time Afternoon Tea at Tease brings the “Bloom As You Are” concept directly to your palate with a special menu paired with curated teas and boozy drinks. Priced at THB 999++ per person, the exclusive offering perfectly captures the spirit of Pride through connection, individuality, and sweetness.
