The number of flights from BER is increasing to twelve destinations

Wizz Air is expanding its route network and is now offering new connections between the German capital region and Timișoara. From now on, the airline will fly to western Romania every Thursday and Sunday in just one hour and 45 minutes. The airline operates modern Airbus A320neo and A321neo aircraft, which can seat between 186 and 239 passengers. The new route gives travellers access to a dynamic, creative city with history and cultural diversity.

Timișoara is Wizz Air’s fourth new destination in the summer timetable from BER. Following Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Cluj-Napoca in Romania, the airline’s distinctive aircraft have been taking off several times a week since March. In addition, Wizz Air is continuing its service to the Romanian capital Bucharest in the summer timetable and increasing frequencies on existing routes to Belgrade in Serbia, Chișinău in Moldova, Tirana in Albania and Varna in Bulgaria. In total, Wizz Air will thus connect BER with twelve destinations in Southern and Eastern Europe in the summer timetable. The total number of seats on offer will therefore increase by 90 per cent compared to last year’s summer timetable.
