EVT’s Connect Hospitality has expanded its third-party hotel management portfolio with the signing of a new management agreement for Sage James Street Brisbane, located in Brisbane’s premium James Street lifestyle precinct.
The 93-room hotel is set across four levels and built around the heritage-listed Queens Arms Hotel, combining contemporary design with heritage architecture and city views. Design features include street art-inspired walls, recycled sand stock brick, advanced lighting design, and modern amenities.
EVT Director of Commercial and Connect Hospitality, Mat Duff, said the agreement supports Connect Hospitality’s “asset light growth strategy” and strengthens its expansion across key Australian and New Zealand markets.
The property offers close access to designer boutiques, bars, restaurants, and Brisbane’s cultural attractions, positioning it for both leisure and business travellers.
Connect Hospitality provides third-party management services that allow hotel owners to franchise external brands while leveraging EVT’s operational expertise, revenue management capabilities, talent development, and local market insight.
The release also highlights EVT’s broader business portfolio, including more than 100 hotels, over 150 bars and restaurants, cinema operations across several countries, and an estimated AU$2.3 billion property portfolio.
