Sydney 12th May 2026: Chiva-Som, the world’s leading wellness resort for over 31 years, partnered with The Pillars, one of Sydney’s newest private members’ clubs, to bring a slice of its wellness experience to the city. It was an intimate, beautifully curated morning that left everyone in the room feeling a little better than when they arrived.
The guest list was as thoughtfully assembled as the programme itself: travel agents and their guests, Pillars members and past Chiva-Som guests, all brought together with one thing in common: a love of living well.

Movement First
The morning opened with The 5th Motion, a signature Chiva-Som wellness class focused on releasing tension, easing stress and restoring a sense of balance in the body.
Wantanee Danjareanak, Chiva-Som’s Head of Physiotherapy, flew in from the resort in Thailand to lead the session herself. Her warmth and expertise set the tone for the entire morning. Guests moved with intention, breathed a little deeper and left the class feeling lighter.
For many in the room, it was their first taste of what a stay at Chiva-Som actually feels like. For those who had been before, it was a welcome reminder of why they keep going back.
Then, the Table
After the class, guests gathered for a spread of canapés and health-inspired mocktails. Chiva-Som’s culinary team travelled from Thailand to craft every bite and sip on the day, bringing with them the same wholesome approach that defines eating at the resort: no refined sugar, minimal oil, no processed ingredients, just good produce treated with care and creativity.
The food told its own story. Every element on the table was a quiet demonstration of Chiva-Som’s belief that what we put into our bodies matters, and that eating well should never feel like a compromise.
The morning was a celebration of what happens when two like-minded brands come together. Chiva-Som and The Pillars share a commitment to creating meaningful, lasting experiences.
