The Match Schedule:
-
The Asahi Super Dry Trophy – Manchester City vs FC Internazionale Milano
Kick-off: 7:30pm, Saturday, 1 August 2026 -
The Herbalgy Trophy – Chelsea FC vs Juventus:
Kick-off: 7:30pm, Wednesday, 5 August 2026
The opening fixture sees Manchester City, the only club to win four consecutive Premier League titles, face three-time European champions Inter. The Cityzens have qualified for the FA Cup Final, while Inter were crowned Serie A Champions over the weekend, and are in the Final of Coppa Italia. With Manchester City in a tight race to win the Premier League, the match creates a tantalising potential prospect of two of the world’s top domestic league champions facing off for the fans in August in an unforgettable footballing occasion.
The second match features Chelsea FC, Manchester City’s opponents in the FA Cup Final as it looks to win the domestic competition for the ninth time, taking on the legendary Juventus, the first team in history to have won the European Triple Crown of the Champions League, UEFA Cup, and Cup Winners’ Cup.
The Hong Kong Football Festival serves as a critical final preparation stage for these European giants ahead of the 2026/27 season and follows a landmark return of top-tier football to Hong Kong from last year’s event, which drew over 100,000 fans, the largest ever audience for live football in Hong Kong.
With four more legendary football clubs visiting this summer, fans will once again feel the passion of world-class football at the Hong Kong Football Festival this summer.
