While cycling is, of course, central to the journey, Beyond tours are shaped more by the remoteness of each destination, which calls for a different approach from ExperiencePlus!’ Classic trips with their chalk arrow navigation and go-your-own pacing. With fewer logistical options, the Beyond experience becomes more collective—traveling closer together and more in tune as a group—while still leaving room for personal exploration and discovery by bike.

In Tanzania, pedal across the wild heart of the country’s northern region on the Beyond: Kilimanjaro to Ngorongoro Crater by E-bike journey, traveling from the western foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro into the vast plains and woodlands of the Great Rift Valley. Guests will follow quiet gravel tracks across pampas, fjords, and ranchlands, with nights spend at both modest and luxury working estancias, including three nights at the remarkable, all-inclusive Cerro Guido, where gaucho culture, regional cuisine, and warm hospitality define the experience. In Northern Europe, the seven-day Beyond: Finland’s Arctic Lapland journey offers a distinctly different expression of the concept—one rooted in quiet immersion, nature, and Nordic culture. Days blend peaceful riding on scenic gravel roads through Finland’s northeastern backcountry, crossing boreal forest, marshland, lakes, and low Arctic hills. Coming soon: ExperiencePlus! plans to add a Beyond journey in Jordan, offering travelers the opportunity to cycle through the country’s breathtaking contrasts—from Dana’s rugged highlands to the vast desert of Wadi Rum. Traveling along the King’s Highway, guests will explore Petra’s ancient wonders, share tea with Bedouins, and marvel at sandstone landscapes on a thrilling jeep ride among the dunes. The Patagonia and Tanzania Beyond journeys are operated using mountain e-bikes, supporting a shared group pace and expanding access to a wider range of travelers. E-bikes also allow greater flexibility when it comes to trip design by enabling ExperiencePlus! to offer experiences in each destination that might otherwise be out of reach. The Finland Beyond trip will feature a mix of gravel and e-gravel bikes.
