On April 24, Concord Hospitality associates came together to take part in the company’s 18th annual day of giving known as Share Day in partnership with Feed the Children and various local charities. Thousands of Concord Hospitality associates across North America participated in charitable activities during this annual event, donating more than 7,000 volunteer hours and helping provide over 64,000 meals to the local communities where Concord team members live and work.

Since launching Share Day in 2009, Concord Hospitality associates have raised more than $1.7 million, volunteered upwards of 71,500 hours of service, and helped deliver over 3.2 million meals to more than 50,000 local families. This yearly initiative reflects Concord’s dedication not only to excellence in hospitality management, but also to fostering a dynamic and engaging workplace culture built on its five core pillars of quality, integrity, community, profitability and fun.

“Today, we’re proud to give back to the communities our associates call home, reinforcing our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work. Seeing our teams step up with such dedication reflect the heart of who we are, and we’re grateful for our continued partnerships with Feed the Children who help us extend our impact even further,” said President & Chief Executive Officer, Mark Laport.

“Share Day is a cornerstone of Concord Hospitality’s culture, reflecting the values that guide how we show up for one another and for our communities. It’s a powerful expression of what makes this organization such a special place to work,” said Debra Punke, Chief People and Culture Officer.

This year Share Day activities took place in cities such as Duluth, GA.; Columbus, OH.; East Rutherford, NJ.; Pittsburgh, PA, Grand Prairie, TX.; and Durham, NC.
