Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit hosted an exclusive private preview of Le Vestiaire, Sofitel’s new global wardrobe concept, welcoming leading lifestyle and fashion media for an intimate Parisian-inspired showcase.
Presented for the first time in Asia, Le Vestiaire is envisioned by renowned French designer Cordelia de Castellane as a modern “couture garde-robe” for Sofitel’s 25,000 Heartists® worldwide. The collection reinterprets French elegance through a contemporary lens—blending haute couture sensibility with everyday sophistication to create a wardrobe that celebrates individuality, comfort, and timeless style.
For the occasion, Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit’s Imperial Suite was transformed into a refined couture showroom, offering guests an immersive “Parisian interlude.” The special invited guests and media explored the collection at their leisure while enjoying champagne and curated French delicacies, echoing the elegance and intimacy of a true Parisian salon.
Marking a new chapter for Sofitel, Le Vestiaire comprises more than 45 pieces and a curated range of accessories, designed with versatility at its core. The collection empowers employees across all roles—from Front Office to Housekeeping—to mix and match silhouettes according to personal style, body shape, and comfort. From sharply tailored vests and fluid dresses to modern reinterpretations of the classic Saharan jacket, each piece reflects Sofitel’s belief that true luxury is personal.
A harmonious palette of navy blue, coconut milk, beige, and denim blue anchors the collection, complemented by refined details such as hand-drawn monogram prints and the brand’s iconic “Cultural Link” motif—symbolizing a bridge between cultures. Designed to adapt seamlessly across destinations, Le Vestiaire allows each Sofitel property to curate its own expression of the wardrobe while maintaining a cohesive identity rooted in French elegance.
Beyond aesthetics, the collection reflects Sofitel’s commitment to sustainable luxury. Each piece is crafted with durability, comfort, and longevity in mind, incorporating high-quality materials and repairable design elements to ensure lasting wear—where responsibility and refinement go hand in hand.

Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel, MGallery and Emblems, said:
“We are entering a moment when Sofitel has fully regained its pride, at a time when so many of our hotels are being beautifully renovated – such as Sofitel New York, Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile, and many more – and when new Sofitel properties are opening around the world as true flagships of the brand. It was essential to me that our teams – the very essence of luxury – could also benefit from this new era of beauty. It felt only natural that they should shine more than ever. I am delighted by this collaboration with Cordelia de Castellane, who has perfectly captured the spirit of a refined, timeless wardrobe, celebrating French elegance and luxury.”
Cordelia de Castellane, French fashion designer, said:
“For this project, I didn’t want to create uniforms, I wanted to design a vestiaire. The idea is simple: pick and choose a look that fits the right place and the right position. Most importantly, I knew I didn’t want to lock people into a specific uniform. Sofitel is a great French brand that has set out on an adventure and has truly established a legacy.”
The collaboration also marks a significant moment for the brand, as part of its global evolution and renewed focus on elevating every touchpoint of the guest experience. By extending couture thinking to its teams, Sofitel reinforces the idea that its Heartists® are at the very heart of luxury hospitality.
The Bangkok preview was met with an overwhelmingly positive response, with guests praising both the design sophistication and the immersive presentation. The event successfully positioned Sofitel at the intersection of fashion and hospitality, further strengthening its connection with Thailand’s fashion and lifestyle community.
Le Vestiaire will begin rolling out in Sofitel hotels worldwide from the end of 2026, ushering in a new era of style, self-expression, and French art de vivre across the brand.
