Early, priority access to reservations for Atlas Ocean Voyages’ first luxury expedition sailing yacht – Atlas Adventurer – has now opened for experience seekers keen to sail aboard the revolutionary, three-masted vessel after its launch in late 2028, setting course for the brand’s first-ever foray into Asia and Africa.

Australians can register early access to reservations for Atlas Adventurer via Atlas Ocean Voyages’ exclusive Australian representative, Cruise Traveller –  Australia’s largest expedition and small ship experts. A deposit will provide exclusive, advance access to Atlas Adventurer’s inaugural season in 2028/29 before reservations open to the general public mid this year.

Atlas Adventurer’s first 15 expeditions have now been flagged, with early access booking allocations for the first two in Japan in November, 2028, already sold out. The 15 voyages in  Atlas Adventurer’s maiden season feature sailings from nine to 15 nights between November, 2028, and April, 2029, with guests able to combine voyages to create epic journeys lasting more than four months, including a grand, 128-night itinerary from Japan to South Africa.

Atlas Adventurer will expand Atlas Ocean Voyages’ footprint into destinations new to the brand such as Japan, China, South Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines, as well as the Seychelles, Madagascar, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique and South Africa, further extending the line’s global reach while continuing to redefine luxury expedition cruising to remote destinations around the world.

Engineered for worldwide discovery, Atlas Adventurer will be a 26,000-ton, 210-metre-long luxury expedition sailing yacht, accommodating up to 400 guests – all in suites – and 275 crew.  Inspired by the wind mastery of vessels from the 15th century and offering the solid sails and advanced, electric propulsion of the 21st century, Atlas Adventurer will sport three carbon masts and the elevated comfort of seven fine dining venues, five lounges, an expanded fitness and wellness centre, a large pool, and purpose-built expedition capabilities, including Zodiacs, luxury motorboats, and a marina platform with an ocean pool for water-based exploration.

Capable of zero emission and near-silent operation, the yacht will be equipped with dual-fuel engines and electric-hybrid propulsion, featuring a large nine-megawatt marine battery system – one of the largest marine battery systems of its kind.

In Australia, Cruise Traveller Managing Director, Joe O’Sullivan, said: “The debut of Atlas’ first sailing yacht represents an exciting new chapter for the brand and will appeal to Australians seeking immersive exploration paired with refined elegance and grace. Atlas Adventurer will chart new waters for Atlas, venturing into Asia and Africa, destinations rich in culture, wildlife, and unforgettable discovery.

“Atlas Ocean Voyages continues to be a perfect fit for Australians who value effortless elegance, an abundance of space, elevated cuisine, efficient service, affordability, and a focus on authentic, low-impact visits to smaller ports and remote and pristine places around the world,” Mr O’Sullivan said.
