Inspired by the traditional “Lo Hei” feast practiced in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao and South East Asia region, this dish is artistically reinterpreted by the culinary team to offer an interactive, fun, and meaning-rich dining experience for guests and families, wishing everyone a successful and prosperous year ahead, with a flying start.
A Classic Feast Reimagined with Artistic Presentation
The “Lo Hei” feast is a visual and verbal celebration of good fortune, symbolizing “rising fortunes” and “abundance year after year,” and carries people’s best wishes for the Chinese New Year. The Regency Art Hotel celebrates this cultural essence and integrates it into its culinary artistry. “Tossed Salmon Slices with Vegetable” features meticulously selected salmon, representing surplus and prosperity, are artfully paired with a vibrant array of ingredients: shredded cucumber for enduring youth, red and white radish strips for good luck and steady advancement, complemented by crispy peanuts, sesame seeds, and crackers to signify a house filled with wealth and riches. All ingredients are arranged like a colorful painting, creating a feast for the eyes.
The “Tossed Salmon Slices with Vegetable” will be available for a limited time from February 3, 2026 until March 3, 2026, exclusively at the Regency Noodles and Chinese Light Dishes. Regency Art Hotel will launch a selection of specially curated Lunar New Year set menus for the Year of the Horse to celebrate for a “Lo Hei” feast to toss up good fortune and success in the new year.
