Property and accommodation investment manager CLLIX has appointed Mark Hodge as Chief Operating Officer.
Mark brings more than 30 years of senior leadership experience in the tourism and hospitality sector, with a track record of improving operating performance, executing commercial restructures and delivering sustainable earnings growth across complex asset portfolios.
As Chief Operating Officer, Mark will be responsible for operational strategy and execution across CLLIX’s portfolio. He will work closely with the executive leadership team to strengthen operating discipline, enhance asset performance and support long-term value creation.
Mark has held executive leadership roles, including chief executive officer, senior vice president and group general manager, across both single-asset and multi-asset portfolios, working with global hotel groups such as Accor and Mantra Group. His experience spans corporate and resort-style operations, with a deep understanding of both strata and traditional hotel ownership structures.
He is regarded as commercially astute, with a strategic and analytical approach, and is recognised as a trusted adviser to boards and executive teams. Throughout his career, Mark has led operational transformations, restructurings, and acquisitions, delivering improvements in margins, profitability, and employee engagement.
Mark has also held a number of industry governance roles, including director of the National Board of the Accommodation Association of Australia, chair of the Accommodation Australia Queensland State Advisory Board from 2019 to 2024, and director of Destination Gold Coast.
In 2022, he was awarded Australian General Manager of the Year at the HM Awards. He holds current real estate licences in Queensland and New South Wales.
