This festive season, Bartolo invites guests to celebrate the holidays the way they’re meant to be enjoyed: around a table with good company, great food, and the relaxed neighborhood spirit that has made the Uluwatu bistro a Bali favorite. Known for its European street-corner charm, finely tuned cooking, and showstopping drinks, Bartolo brings this same energy to Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve, with set menus built around simple pleasures and genuine hospitality.

This year includes a special Christmas Lunch on 25 December from 12pm, a festive-only addition to Bartolo’s usual dinner service. The Christmas Eve Dinner on 24 December from 5pm and the Christmas Day Lunch share the same enticing menu, priced at IDR 850k++ per person.

Starters bring together crowd favorites and bold European flavors: Bread with Bottarga Butter, a briny, umami-rich spread made from cured fish roe; Rosette de Lyon, a traditional dry-cured pork sausage; Chicken Liver Pâté with cranberries and condiments; Polenta Croquettes with parmesan aioli and jamon serrano; and an intensely savory Gilda featuring octopus, Manchego, sundried tomatoes and olives.

For the mains, guests may choose between Roasted Chicken with king oyster mushrooms and truffle, Seared Salmon with champagne beurre blanc and roe, or a classic holiday favorite, Beef Wellington with jus. Dessert is Bartolo’s beloved Tiramisu — an easy contender for the island’s best.

The New Year’s Eve Dinner on 31 December kicks off at 5pm with a standout spread of entrées, from Mediterranean Seafood Salad to a clean, classic Steak Tartare. For the main event, guests may choose between Seared Salmon with champagne beurre blanc and roe or Entrecôte, a grilled ribeye finished with Sauce Bordelaise and shaved truffles. The night ends the way it should: with Bartolo’s famous Tiramisu. The full experience is priced at IDR 980k++ per person.

For founder Rafael Nardo, the holidays at Bartolo reflect the heart of the bistro’s philosophy: generous portions, exceptional food, and a setting where guests feel genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive. “Our festive events are built around the things that matter most: good flavors, good wine, and the people you share them with,” Nardo says. “Whether it’s Christmas lunch with family or New Year’s dinner with friends, we want guests to feel like they’re exactly where they’re meant to be.”

This season, Bartolo keeps it simple: great food enjoyed with your favorite people and that unmistakable European neighborhood vibe that has become the restaurant’s signature. These are festive tables made for sharing, talking, laughing, and settling in to celebrate.
