Vietjet Thailand, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Central Khon Kaen shopping centre, is delivering aid to flood-affected communities in the South, particularly in Hat Yai, Songkhla province, and neighbouring areas. The airline is actively supporting the relief mission by transporting and distributing survival bags donated through the ‘Thai Ruam Jai at Central’ (Thai United at Central) project to Hat Yai Airport on Vietjet Thailand flights, with a transport capacity of up to 3,500 tons per flight per day, to ensure timely assistance and help alleviate the difficulties faced by flood victims across several southern provinces. Furthermore, the airline also offers supporting measures to passengers impacted by travel disruptions, including a one-time flight change on the original route, or the option to retain the fare value as a credit shell for future travel.
Mr. Woranate Laprabang, Chief Executive Officer of Vietjet Thailand, stated that “Vietjet Thailand is committed to standing by the Thai people in all situations and is keen to support urgent relief missions as part of the collective effort to help those affected by the floods in Hat Yai district, Songkhla, and surrounding provinces. The airline recently partnered with the Ministry of Transport to transport and distribute over 10 tons of survival bags, essential goods, drinking water, and other necessary items, and continues to operate these missions to ease the burden on victims”.

Vietjet Thailand is responsible for collecting donated items at the domestic warehouse drop-off point at Suvarnabhumi Airport and has also coordinated with its partner, Central Khon Kaen shopping centre, to deliver support to flood-affected communities through the “Thai Ruam Jai at Central” project. Members of the public wishing to contribute further may donate consumer goods at the “Thai Ruam Jai at Central” donation point on the 1st floor of Central Khon Kaen.
Passengers holding Vietjet Thailand tickets for flights to or from Hat Yai Airport between 22 November – 7 December 2568 are now eligible to request either a one-time flight change on the original route with a new travel date within 90 days of the original departure date or to retain the fare value as a credit shell for future travel within 365 days of the original departure date. These measures take effect immediately. Passengers may claim these rights within 30 days of their original departure date. This entitlement also applies to passengers who have already received assistance and are still impacted by the situation. Terms and conditions apply as specified by the company. Flight changes are subject to seat availability on the selected flight.
Passengers scheduled to travel on Bangkok–Hat Yai route can still fly with Vietjet Thailand as usual. During the flood situation, the airline has adjusted its flight frequency to one round-trip flight per day: Flight VZ324 departs from Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 11:00 hrs. and arrives at Hat Yai Airport at 12:30 hrs. The return flight, VZ325, departs Hat Yai Airport at 13:05 hrs. and arrives at Suvarnabhumi International Airport at 14:35 hrs. This schedule is valid every Monday to Sunday. Should the flood situation ease, the airline will announce any subsequent flight schedule changes via Vietjet Thailand’s official channels.
