Emporium Hotel South Bank is turning up the heat this season with Summer State of Mind, an invitation to unwind, indulge and embrace the very best of Brisbane’s sunny season. In collaboration with iconic beauty brand Naked Sundays, the hotel is reinventing its spaces with a vibrant mix of colour, flavour and five-star style that sets the tone for the ultimate summer escape.
Available for stays between 1 December and 1 February, the limited-edition Summer State of Mind accommodation offer includes two refreshing margaritas on arrival, a dining credit to spend across the hotel’s award-winning venues and a curated Naked Sundays gift pack to extend that summer glow long after checkout.
The first 300 bookings made between 1 December and 8 January will receive the exclusive Naked Sundays Summer Gift Pack including a beach towel, body crème, glow face mist and branded tote, the perfect collection for poolside lounging.
Guests booking two-night stays will enjoy a $50 dining credit while those booking three nights or more will receive $100 to spend at The Terrace Rooftop Bar, FIRMA Italian or Belle Époque.
The summer transformation continues at The Terrace, where an Altos Margarita takeover brings a fresh burst of energy to the rooftop. Cactus installations, terracotta accents and a dedicated margarita cart create the backdrop for long afternoons. Launching Wednesday 3 December and running through to Sunday 25 January, the pop-up invites guests to explore a collection of $24 margaritas that celebrate bold seasonal flavour. Highlights include the Pomegranate and Passionfruit Margarita and the Orange and Chilli Margarita. A relaxed grazing menu completes the experience with dishes such as hot and sweet chicken wings with buttermilk dipping sauce, char grilled sweet corn with smoked paprika butter and lime and bulgogi beef tacos finished with Asian slaw and teriyaki glaze.
The Terrace also sets the rhythm for the season with live entertainment each weekend. Fridays feature DJs from 6pm until midnight and Saturdays begin with acoustic sets from 4pm to 6pm before DJs take over into the evening with a saxophone feature between 7pm and 8pm.
Naked Sundays joins the celebration with a special golden hour experience each Sunday. Guests can enjoy acoustic music from 4pm to 7pm while creating their own Naked Margarita for $20. Choose a spirit of mezcal, blanco or reposado, select a flavour such as classic, coconut and cacao blanc, watermelon and orgeat or pineapple and ginger, and finish with a rim of salt, chilli salt or sugar.
