The resort’s pool area has been rejuvenated as one of its defining centrepieces. The pool itself has been fully re-pebblecreted, with the surrounding sandstone meticulously restored to its original beauty. Enhancing both comfort and aesthetic appeal, 120 new sun lounges sit within refreshed, vibrant landscaping.

Emerging as a sophisticated oasis from sunrise to sunset, the pool terrace invites indulgence and relaxation in equal measure. With poolside dining and the signature swim-up bar, guests can enjoy vibrant cocktails, an enticing wine list and light, refined bites curated by Cibaria and Bar Capri.

The pinnacle of the accommodation is the Elysium Suite, a new level of luxury for the discerning global traveller. Perched above Hastings Street with sweeping views across sea, sky and coastline, it features a private plunge pool offering a tranquil invitation to pause and follow the gentle arc of the day. Inside, two beautifully appointed bedrooms provide secluded retreat, while expansive living spaces flow with ease and intention. Floor-to-ceiling glass frames uninterrupted views of Noosa’s natural beauty, ensuring the landscape remains ever-present.

Throughout the resort, the guest experience is elevated at every touchpoint. Bespoke bedding configurations are available upon request, while beautiful new in-room amenities enhance comfort and indulgence: from Australian born Grown Alchemist to the introduction of professional spa brand, ESPA, known for its world class holistic approach to skin and bodycare. Elysium Suite guests will have access to a collection of luxury Hermès amenities.

Thoughtful service, intuitive concierge support and refined in-room details come together to create stays that feel instinctively personal and uniquely Elysium.

Elysium Noosa introduces a new calibre of Australian coastal dining through its signature collection of restaurants and bars. At the heart of this offering is Cibaria Noosa, a vibrant 120-seat trattoria that channels the warmth and energy of an Italian piazza. Here, handmade pastas, crudi, and wood-grilled classics unfold in a setting shaped by generous hospitality and the easy rhythm of European dining and socialising.

Fronting Hastings Street, Bar Capri, brings a relaxed Mediterranean elegance from morning to late night. Guests can expect barista-made coffee at first light, generous breakfasts, bright antipasti and fresh seafood through the afternoon, and a spirited aperitivo culture at dusk with citrus-forward spritzes, bright cocktails and Italian-leaning wines.

Designed by Melbourne-based interior design studio Mitchell & Eades, Elysium Noosa’s interiors capture the relaxed sophistication of Noosa while subtly nodding to the understated luxury of the European coastline. Each residence has been thoughtfully composed with tactile linens, sun-bleached timbers and a calming palette inspired by the surrounding sand, sea and sky, creating a refined yet deeply grounding coastal retreat.

Guided by a ‘less is more’ philosophy, the design uses a muted palette, refined panel detailing and subtle bursts of colour to let the natural beauty take centre stage. Colours, textures and forms reference Noosa’s beaches and native flora, from banksia to bunya and kauri pine with playful touch points grounding each space in local character. Guest rooms feature rattan, linens, stripes, and timber and gold accents that nod to the local history of red cedar milling and gold mining. Much of the furniture, joinery and fabric is custom-made, including the signature headboards and handcrafted minibars, whose fabrics draw inspiration from the rugged shoreline and, in prestige suites, subtle yellow piping that speaks to the local vibrant summer energy.

Not forgotten are sandy towel drop points in each suite and plentiful storage to ensure a comfortable stay for guests who often visit for extended periods of time. “This is Noosa afterall,” says Elysium Noosa General Manager, Mark Wilkinson.

“This property holds a special place in the heart of Australian tourism and its visitors – it is a destination that embodies the relaxed elegance, natural beauty, and welcoming spirit that Noosa is known for. There is something indisputably unique about this hotel and its iconic setting. Primely positioned on Hastings Street, steps from the beach, hospitality and retail, with the river at its opposite edge, the hotel sits at the nexus of Noosa’s most coveted natural and coastal experiences,” he added.

With its reimagined spaces, elevated dining and deep sense of place, Elysium Noosa sets the tone for a new chapter at one of Australia’s most beloved destinations. Whether guests seek restoration, connection or simply the pleasure of slowing down by the sea, the resort offers an experience shaped with intention and delivered with generosity that feels unmistakably Noosa, yet entirely its own.

At Elysium, there is an understanding that true luxury is the freedom to let go, and the grace to be looked after with sincerity.
