Spread the love

Artisan has officially landed in Pererenan and the new neighbourhood already feels like home. This is the fourth opening for the Bali born hospitality group founded by Charlotte Callow and Khairil Ibrahim, partners in both life and business. What began as a small brunch café in Uluwatu has grown into a collection of much loved venues across the island including Ungasan, Bingin and now Pererenan.

Each Artisan venue has its own personality and Pererenan is no exception. The new space blends tropical warmth with industrial cool. Think smooth concrete softened by lush greenery, mellow lighting and a soundtrack that makes you want to stay for one more drink. It is relaxed, creative and designed with the same care that has made Artisan feel like a favourite wherever it goes.

ARTISAN PERERENAN-Risotto Yellow Capsicum

The Pererenan dinner menu has been created by Artisan Executive Chef Paolo Tancredi Arlotta (previously Skool Kitchen). Signature dishes include a Golden Risotto made with carnaroli rice and yellow capsicum puree topped with grilled prawn and a touch of Javanese long pepper. The Gnocchi is pure comfort with duck and porcini ragù finished with dark cocoa. There is a beautiful Fish of the Day served with spigariello leaves, confit tomato and a tomato compote beurre blanc. The Grilled Half Chicken arrives with clam jus, and cooked clams.

The opening also continues the group’s belief that hospitality should have a positive impact on people and place. Ingredients are sourced from local producers, kitchens follow low waste practices and design elements are made with longevity in mind. Artisan has always been about neighbourhoods. Each venue finds its own rhythm and its own loyal crowd while keeping that same sense of craft, community and care. With Pererenan now open, a new chapter begins and it already feels like one of those places you come back to again and again.
