The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic will showcase the country’s latest developments and new openings at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, marking a phase of expansion and consolidation as the Caribbean’s leading travel destination.

Dominican tourism continues to grow through the opening of new hotels, the promotion of sustainable projects, and the strengthening of its tourism infrastructure. This progress reflects a vision of responsible growth, in harmony with nature and local communities.

Among the latest openings are luxury resorts and unique experiences that further enrich the diversity of the national offering. The exclusive St. Regis Cap Cana Resort, the modern W Punta Cana, and the elegant Zemi Miches have recently opened their doors – three properties that reinforce the country’s position as a world-class hospitality destination.

Other major projects supporting this expansion include the Ritz-Carlton in Las Terrenas and the Four Seasons Resort & Residences in Tropicalia (Miches). Each has been designed to deliver premium experiences that blend comfort, sustainability, and authentic Dominican character.

Sustainable travel remains a top priority, with initiatives underway in destinations such as Miches and Punta Bergantín, promoting tourism development models based on environmental preservation and social inclusion.

Tourism Minister David Collado emphasised that this growth “reflects a forward-looking vision where tourism is developed by protecting the island’s most valuable assets: its people and natural environment. We aim to remain a model for sustainable and inclusive tourism development in the region and around the world.”

During WTM London, the Ministry of Tourism will unveil the Dominican Republic’s new stand – located at S7-210 at the ExCeL London exhibition centre – a space designed to immerse visitors in the country’s natural beauty and vibrant culture.

Attendees will enjoy sensory experiences, learn more about the country’s destinations, sample Dominican cuisine, and discover what makes the island a benchmark in Caribbean tourism.

The Dominican delegation will be led by the Ministry of Tourism and will include major hotel groups, destination management companies (DMCs), and representatives from the aviation and airport sectors.

Dominican Republic welcomes you with a smile and invites you to discover its new tourism era at WTM London 2025.
