The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon is proud to announce its No.45 ranking on The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025 list, marking a milestone as the first EDITION property ever to be featured on this prestigious global ranking.
Opened in 2020, The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon was designed as an urban resort, blending the best of East and West in the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic cities. Created in collaboration with internationally renowned architect Kengo Kuma, Marriott International, Mori Trust, and Ian Schrager, the hotel occupies the 31st to 36th floors of Tokyo World Gate and offers unobstructed views of the city skyline, including one of its most striking landmarks, Tokyo Tower.
Throughout its spaces, authentic natural materials such as walnut, oak, bronze, travertine, glass, and silk are paired with yamato-bari, a traditional Japanese wood cladding, and exotic greenery. Together, these elements create a sophisticated design language that subtly celebrates Japan’s rich culture.
The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon is home to an extensive offering of culinary and cocktail outlets, including the award-winning Gold Bar at EDITION, The Jade Room + Garden Terrace helmed by Michelin-starred chef Tom Aikens, The Blue Room, and their signature Lobby Bar – often dubbed as the city’s “jungle in the sky”.
