Bunnik Tours and the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) have joined forces to celebrate and strengthen the growing travel connection between Australia and South Korea. The partnership was highlighted at the Soul of Korea agent event in Adelaide on Tuesday, 28 October, showcasing the nation’s unique character through food, culture, and storytelling.

One of the evening’s highlights was the announcement of the South Korea 2026 famil, in partnership with Singapore Airlines. One lucky Adelaide agent was thrilled to win a spot on the upcoming trip, while additional places are reserved for top-selling agents, most improved performers, and a few to be drawn at random! Agents are able to secure a chance to join by selling Bunnik Tours and Singapore Airlines products between now and 16 January 2026.

Through this collaboration, Bunnik Tours and KTO aimed to inspire more Australians to experience the depth, beauty and cultural richness of South Korea — from vibrant cities and serene temples to world-class cuisine and welcoming locals.

Hyeongjoon Kim, Director of the Korea Tourism Organization Sydney Office, said the partnership reflected a shared passion for authentic travel experiences.

“Bunnik Tours has been a wonderful partner in helping us grow awareness of South Korea as a destination full of depth and discovery,” Mr Kim said. “Their expertise in small group touring and genuine family-run approach align perfectly with our mission to share the warmth and wonder of Korea. We were thrilled to bring a touch of Korea to Adelaide together and inspire more Australians to discover its cultural treasures.”

Dennis Bunnik, Joint-CEO of Bunnik Tours, said the collaboration highlighted the company’s commitment to crafting meaningful travel experiences that connect people and cultures.

“We were proud to partner with the Korea Tourism Organization to shine a spotlight on South Korea’s incredible diversity — from its bustling markets and modern design to its rich traditions and breathtaking landscapes,” Mr Bunnik said. “There was so much for Australians to discover, and we were excited to play a part in that journey.” Interest in South Korea continues to grow among Australian travellers, driven by the global popularity of Korean culture and a renewed appetite for meaningful, small group travel. Bunnik Tours saw strong early demand for its 2026 South Korea small group tours, with more than a third of seats already filled ahead of the peak booking period.

This partnership represented a significant step in promoting South Korea as a must-visit destination for Australians, while offering travel agents unique opportunities to experience and share the country’s richness firsthand.
