Leading Australian travel insurance and assistance provider, Cover-More Travel Insurance, has launched a new itinerary planner within its popular travel app, giving travellers an easy way to discover and plan travel experiences all over the world.
From sumo matches in Japan to food tours in Rome, the app uses AI to match experiences with traveller interests.
“Travel isn’t just about the days you’re away; it’s also about the anticipation and inspiration that happen before you go,” Chief Sales Officer of Cover-More Travel Insurance Todd Nelson said.
“By integrating an itinerary planner, we can help our customers dream, plan and book great experiences all in one place.”
Options include suggestions suited to solo travellers, couples, friends, and families. Planned features include filters for mobility and fitness levels, a ‘wildcard’ function for those who want to be surprised, as well as local transport information to help travellers navigate new destinations.
The itinerary planner is the latest addition to a suite of features available in the Cover-More app, which can be used by anyone. While a Cover-More policy isn’t required, users can easily obtain a quote or purchase a policy directly within the app. Other features include destination information and travel discounts, while policyholders also receive real-time risk alerts, access to Cover-More’s 24/7 emergency assistance team, and convenient in-app access to their policy details.
Cover-More has launched a campaign across Australia and New Zealand to promote its new AI-powered itinerary planner, inviting travellers to test the feature and share their feedback for the chance to win a $250 gift card. All feedback will be used to enhance the app’s functionality and user experience.
The Cover-More app is available for download from the App Store and Google Play.
